Desmonia is a Heavy Metal/Power Metal band from Sweden/Scandinavia/Europe.

The band was formed in 2016 by Paul Holmfrid.

The band is influenced by Heavy Metal music from the 80’s like Judas Priest, Michael Schenker and U.D.O/Accept. The musical influences from the 80’s are mixed with a more modern metal sound inspired by bands like Arch Enemy, Rammstein, Five Finger Death Punch and Amon Amarth.

Desmonias songs are typically in a slow tempo with a melodic touch of traditional nordic music combined with bombastic chorus choirs, the sound is made up of a wall of heavy guitars and the rusty leadsong of Paul Holmfrid backed up by Paul Eriksson.

In the studio, Desmonia is a duo consisting of Paul Holmfrid and Paul Eriksson, for live appearances additional live musicians are added to the lineup.
