Efterklang returning to Helsinki next week

Danish indie rock band EFTERKLANG will return to Helsinki next week with their new Things We Have In Common Tour. The concert will be at the venue Kuudes Linja on December 8th.  The band has recorded seven studio album and his newest one «Things We Have In Common» was released on September via City Slang. The name Efterklang comes from the Danish word for «remembrance» or «reverberation». EFTERKLANG was formed on 2000 in Copenhagen, its three core members are childhood friends Casper Clausen, Mads Brauer and Rasmus Stolberg. The original lineup also included Rune Mølgaard, but he has taken a more secluded role since 2007. Drummer Thomas Husmer left the band 2011.

When performing live, the core three-piece band is complemented with the addition of live band members. They are known for their enchanting blend of atmospheric pop and lushly arranged orchestral rock elements. As late as in 2023, EFTERKLANG traveled to North Macedonia to assemble a band of local musicians for a concert in just one week, performed in front of the country’s architecturally wild Monument of Freedom – and immortalized in Andreas Johnsen’s documentary film «Efterklang: The Makedonium Band.» The special guest for the evening will be FUNNY WEATHER, the solo project of Fred Wallin (bassist of LITTLE DRAGON)
